I wanted to create a play on the classic swear jar and use a matrix to keep track of the current dollar amount. My main intention behind making it is to improve my language since my daughter absorbs everything I say like a sponge. If I were to fill out the matrix equivalent to $25 dollars, I would get her some form of a treat. The code was very simple: every time you press the button, it makes the next pixel in the sequence light up with a random color applied.

Build Process: 

I started by creating a mini 5x5 matrix from scratch and wiring a button, Arduino, and battery into one circuit. Then I ensured the code was functioning correctly and proceeded to test fit everything into the jar. Following that, I frosted the jar and set everything into its final places.
